Airplane

The main airport serving Seattle is the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport, code is SEA. The airport is about 15 miles (25 km) south from the hotel.

The airport is served by public transportation: the Link Light Rail 1 Line, at the SeaTac Airport station. To reach the hotel from the airport, board a Northbound 1 Line train towards Downtown Seattle / Northgate, and exit at the Westlake station, using the “5th Avenue” exit gate. Enter 5th Avenue between Nordstrom Rack and Nordstrom, beneath the monorail. There is a Westin hotel entrance at the upper-right corner of 5th Avenue and Stewart Street.

The airport is also served by shuttles to the rental car center, with access to I-5 (see the “Car” section below.)

Train

The main train station serving Seattle is the King Street station, which is about 3 miles (5 km) south from the hotel. King Street station is served by Amtrak Cascades: 2 daily trains from Vancouver (British Columbia, Canada), and 5 daily trains from Portland (Oregon), 3 of which originate from Eugene (Oregon; buses from Eugene will connect at Portland with the other 2 trains); as well as a small number of very long-distance trains (e.g. the Empire Builder from Chicago, or the Coast Starlight from Los Angeles.)

The station is served by the Link Light Rail 1 Line at the International District / Chinatown station. To reach the hotel from the station, walk upstairs (or use an elevator) to cross the rail tracks, and then cross 4th Avenue to enter the Link Light Rail station to board a Northbound 1 Line train towards Northgate, and exit at the Westlake station, using the “5th Avenue” exit gate. Enter 5th Avenue between Nordstrom Rack and Nordstrom, beneath the monorail. There is a Westin hotel entrance at the upper-right corner of 5th Avenue and Stewart Street.

Long-distance buses

Greyhound

Seattle is served by Greyhound buses at the Greyhound bus station, which is located 4 miles (6 km) south from the hotel, and is served by the Link Light Rail 1 Line at the Stadium station. To reach the hotel from the station, board a Northbound Line 1 train towards Northgate, then exit at the Westlake station, using the “5th Avenue” exit gate. Enter 5th Avenue between Nordstrom Rack and Nordstrom, beneath the monorail. There is a Westin hotel entrance at the upper-right corner of 5th Avenue and Stewart Street.

Flixbus

Depending on your route, Flixbus will serve Seattle either via the Greyhound bus station or the King Street train station. See above for the corresponding instructions to reach the hotel from your arrival place.

Some buses also stop in the International District, on South Lane Street at the crossing with 6th Avenue. In that case, to reach the hotel from there, cross between Uwajimaya and its parking lot, then turn right into 5th Avenue South and continue until South Jackson Street. The entrance to the Link Light Rail 1 Line at the International District / Chinatown station is on the lower-left corner of 5th Avenue South and South Jackson Street. Then board a Northbound 1 Line train towards Northgate, and exit at the Westlake station, using the “5th Avenue” exit gate. Enter 5th Avenue between Nordstrom Rack and Nordstrom, beneath the monorail. There is a Westin hotel entrance at the upper-right corner of 5th Avenue and Stewart Street.

Car

Seattle is served by the Eisenhower Interstate highway system: I-5 (Tijuana-Vancouver) and I-90 (Seattle-Boston.)

From I-5, from the north

Use Exit 166: “Stewart St.” Then continue on Stewart Street. Then, after 7th Avenue, turn right onto 6th Avenue and then immediately left onto Westlake Avenue, then immediately right into the hotel drop-off lane (the Westin hotel is in the upper-left corner of 6th Avenue and Westlake Avenue.)

From I-5, from the south and the airport

Do not use Downtown Exits! Rather, use the left-lane Exit 165: “Seneca St.” Then at the traffic light turn right onto 6th Avenue. Then, immediately after Stewart Street, turn left onto Westlake Avenue, then immediately right into the hotel drop-off lane (the hotel is in the upper-left corner of 6th Avenue and Westlake Avenue.)

From I-90

Take the right lane and follow “Madison St” via I-5 North. Then, once on I-5, take the second-to-right lane to exit at “Madison St. Convention Center”. Then, at the traffic light turn left onto Madison Street, then use the middle lane to turn right onto 6th Avenue. Then, immediately after Stewart Street, turn left onto Westlake Avenue, then immediately right into the hotel drop-off lane (the hotel is in the upper-left corner of 6th Avenue and Westlake Avenue.)

Boat

Seattle is served by Washington State ferry boats from Bainbridge Island and Bremerton, and the King County Water Taxi from Vashon Island or West Seattle. Both terminals are colocated at Colman Dock (Piers 52 and 50 respectively.) To reach the hotel from either terminal, cross Alaska Avenue into Columbia Street, and board a RapidRide Line C bus towards South Lake Union, then exit at Virginia Street and walk down Virginia Street; there is a Westin hotel entrance at the upper-right corner of Virginia Street and 5th Avenue.
